Nothing on this website is monitored in real time. If you are in crisis or experiencing a mental health emergency, call or text 988 to reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, or call 911 if you or someone else is in immediate danger. We respond to messages during business hours and cannot provide emergency support.

What these terms cover

This site is operated by Therapy Corner & Consulting, Professional Corporation, a Washington professional corporation (“we”, “us”, the “practice”). By using it, you agree to what follows. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

These terms are about the website. If you become a client, your care is governed by the separate documents you sign with your clinician — the informed consent, practice policies and our Notice of Privacy Practices. Where those documents and this page disagree about your care, those documents win.

How we handle information is described in our Privacy Policy.

This website is not therapy

The pages here — our specialty pages, blog posts, tools and FAQ — are general information. They are not clinical advice, not a diagnosis, and not a substitute for care from a qualified professional who knows your situation.

Using this site does not make you our client. Sending a contact message, joining a waitlist, or filling in your details before booking does not create a therapist–client relationship, and does not place a clinician under any duty of care to you. That relationship begins only when you and a clinician have agreed to work together and you have completed intake. Until then, please don’t rely on us being aware of your situation or available to respond to it.

Please also don’t send detailed clinical information through the forms on this site. They are ordinary web forms, not a patient portal. Tell us enough to be matched with the right clinician and no more.

Requests, waitlists and booking

• Submitting a form is a request, not an appointment. We will get back to you, but nothing is scheduled until it is confirmed with you directly.
• A place on a waitlist is not a promise of a place on a caseload, or of any particular wait.
• Clinician availability, the states each clinician is licensed in, and the services listed here change. We keep the site as current as we can, but availability shown on a page is not a guarantee.
• Booking happens on our scheduling provider’s system, not on this site. Once you are there, their terms and privacy policy apply to what you do.

Fees and insurance

Fee and insurance information on this site is provided in good faith and may be out of date. Whether a particular plan covers a particular clinician for a particular service is decided by your insurer, not by us, and the only reliable answer is the one you get by verifying your benefits directly. Nothing here is a guarantee of coverage, of a rate, or of reimbursement.

Staff and clinician accounts

Parts of this site are private. Our staff console and provider portal are for people who work with the practice, and are reached by signing in with an authorised Google account. Signing in with Google confirms who you are; we receive your name and email address for that purpose and nothing else from your Google account.

If you hold one of these accounts, you agree to keep it to yourself, to use it only for practice business, and to tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it. Accounts may be suspended or removed at any time, including when someone stops working with the practice. Attempting to reach these areas without authorisation is not permitted.

Acceptable use

Please don’t:

• Use the site to break the law, or to harass or impersonate anyone.
• Submit someone else’s personal information without their knowledge, or submit deliberately false information.
• Try to get into any part of the site, account, or system you have not been given access to.
• Scrape, copy or republish the site’s content at scale, or use automated tools that interfere with it working for other people.
• Upload anything malicious, or anything you do not have the right to share.

Our content

The text, images, branding and design on this site belong to the practice or are used with permission. You are welcome to read and share pages as they are, and to link to them. Please ask before republishing, adapting, or using anything commercially.

Anything you send us through a form remains yours. You are giving us permission to use it for the purpose you sent it for — to respond to you, match you with a clinician, or consider your application.

Other sites we link to

We link to outside services — our scheduling provider, clinician directory profiles, crisis resources and others. We don’t control them and are not responsible for their content or their handling of your information. Their terms apply once you are on them.

The site is provided as it is

We try to keep this site accurate and available, but we can’t promise it will always be either. It is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that any information on it is complete or current.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, the practice and the people who work for it will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of your use of this website — including anything that follows from relying on general information published here, from a form submission that does not reach us, or from the site being unavailable.

Nothing in this section limits our responsibility for the care we actually provide to clients, or any liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Some states do not allow certain limitations, in which case only the limitations permitted in your state apply to you.

Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, the date at the top of this page changes, and the updated version applies from the point it is posted. If a change is significant, we will make it more obvious than a changed date.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. This provision concerns this website; it does not affect the professional licensing rules or client protections of the state you are treated in, which continue to apply to your care.
