Trauma and Eating Disorder Therapy for Neurodivergent Adults in Arkansas, Washington, and Texas

Helping high-achieving neurodivergent adults recover from trauma, heal their relationships with food and their body, and build a life that feels finally sustainable

I specialize in the intersection of neurodivergence, eating disorders, and complex trauma. Using EMDR, somatic therapy, and psychodynamic approaches, we get to the roots of what you are carrying so you can make real, lasting changes rather than just managing symptoms.

Who I Work With

  • Adults recovering from eating disorders and disordered eating patterns
  • People healing from complex trauma and its impact on the body and daily life
  • Neurodivergent adults navigating the intersection of ADHD, autism, and mental health
  • Late-diagnosed neurodivergent women making sense of a lifetime of masking
  • High-achieving adults who appear to have it together but are struggling underneath
  • If you have spent years white-knuckling your way through life and you are ready to try something different, this is a good place to start.

My Approach to Therapy

I use an integrative blend of evidence-based approaches including psychodynamic psychotherapy, EMDR, and somatic therapy to help you uncover the roots of what you are experiencing and make sense of your patterns. Our work is collaborative and tailored to you, with the goal of reducing your symptoms and helping you build a life that feels more manageable and meaningful.

What It's Like to Work Together

My style is warm, direct, humorous, and genuinely challenging. Sessions are structured and purposeful. You will always know the reasoning behind our plan, and will leave each session with a clear next step. Over time, clients find they are not just coping better but making real, lasting changes they did not think were possible.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you work with other therapists as clients?

Yes. Supporting fellow healthcare professionals is something I care about deeply. I understand the particular pressures of working in a helping profession and create a space where you can show up as a client, not a colleague

Do you work with clients who have been recently diagnosed as neurodivergent?

Yes. A late diagnosis can bring up a lot, including grief, relief, and a need to reframe your entire history. We work through all of it at whatever pace makes sense for you

Do you specialize in eating disorders for neurodivergent clients specifically?

Yes. The intersection of neurodivergence and eating disorders is a core part of my practice. Many neurodivergent people develop complicated relationships with food and their bodies that are connected to sensory experiences, emotional regulation, and masking. I bring a specialized lens to this work,

What is an EMDR intensive and how is it different from regular therapy?

An EMDR intensive is an extended format session, typically 90 minutes, offered several days in a week. This concentrated approach allows for deeper trauma processing in a shorter timeframe than weekly therapy. Intensives are self-pay and are a good fit for clients who want to move through trauma work more quickly
